PEFC comments on recent WWF's 2008 certification scheme assessment and public statement on PEFC Stakeholder Forum
PEFC Council issued a comment upon the recent WWF's certification scheme assessment and its public response to the PEFC proposal to join the recently established PEFC Stakeholder Forum.
Whilst PEFC welcomes WWF's encouraging and positive remarks that PEFC's ongoing reforms are "steps in the right direction", it regrets WWF's decision to solely focus on one forest certification system, rather than working in tandem with both sustainable forest management systems.
